Multi-Player Games

Hi

I was wondering how players tackled multi player games as per page 25.

Basically my problem is who can interrupt who and what happens then?

It depends on your game, but it is always one attempt to react for each enemy action. In a big area, you may wish to agree that reactions may only be made within a given area against actions within that same area. We play mostly large, multi-player games and the reactions mechanism actually widens the scope of tactical possibilities as compared to smaller games.

Thanks Stuart, are considering making it one on one, with restrictions on firing across boundaries (+1 to hit), ans a mechanism to pay tokens to move forces to another player.

We do the same sort of stuff. I think our biggest table was 24' x 8'!

As a question (on an old thread) do you have a side active or a player in multi-player games?

I.e. can all the people on one side spend tokens (concurrently in theory) and the other side react - which likely would speed up play but makes the side out interrupts more difficult, or is it just one player and then when they have done someone else can move?

I think I want to do the first method (and have a side out i.e. all players on a side want to give up the initiative) or an reaction roll of 6 occurs - at which time no more tokens can be spent on the active side. I assume this is how others do big multi-player games.

Generally we do it by sides. We have played bigger games where we break it down amongst players.
