Howdy folks!

Trying to source opponents and players for clash of empires and or dead man's hand for historicals weekends. It's not big in my neck of the woods (hall of heroes campbelltown) and I want to change that.

In Northern Melbourne and have the same difficulty with players. So I'm painting and building a board to take to some local clubs for them to have some demo games.

AT this time we are all missionaries ;)

There are some folk that play CoE at my FLGS but its hard to get them together in any great number. And despite my liking of DMH to the contrary, everyone keeps insisting on the hamfisted GW historical "old west" game.

It takes time to wean anyone off an established game, especialy if they have invested time, effort and money into it.
Best thing to do is run a comparrison day where both games are tried and comparisons are made. Some will not want to, but others may be interested enough to give it a go. It helps if their existing figures can be used. A few may be interested enough to continue to play, at least its a start.
