Hi,

I'm a bit impatient to read the next army book ! Do you have an idea of a release date, even approximative ? :)

Me too!

I have been rather picky on playtesting I'm afraid. With only a couple lists left on the playtesting schedule we should be releasing this late in January.

I guess that you are still playtesting or finalizing the supplement ! :)

Yes, the new Wild West rules (Dead Man's Hand) are the runner for Salute with the Crusades book to go into print shortly afterwards.

We'll have the confirmed contents list up well in time for Salute and the team might be up for taking pre-orders then - Stu?

Thank you for your answer, it lets more time to finish other projects before beginning an army for this supplement. ;)

Yes, we decided to put it back so that it didn't clash with the DMH release.

We are using the time to do some extra playtesting but I can tell you that Stephen has done some magnificent work in describing the state of the armies/political entities and intrigues of the time, and on creating powerfully balanced lists. The army lists (there are over 40 inc. sub-lists) blend really nicely and gamers will, like in the Successor period for example, be able to paint up armies that include detachments of other troops that may form the basis of another army.

So, Kingdom of Heaven will be out shortly after DMH, probably late June/early July.

I've been waiting for this baby for a long time now. I'm glad the extra background stuff is going in because I find it really confusing as to what sort of troops fought alongside whom, other than the old chestnut of the armoured dudes on horseback.

Yeah, it's a big book! It's finished bar the three scenarios at the back which just have to have maps added.
